Anyone fitted/used some of these?

Saw them on my colleagues new LR.

It looks like they can pack some serious light...

Alec,

Ek was nou die dag by British 4x4 hier in Pta en het na die spots gekyk.Ek wil baie ernstig n stel Light Force spots opsit,maar die HID is flippen duur in die omgewing van R5000.00

Daar was ook die Terrafirma 8'' spots gewees en dit het my aandag baie getrek.Die gewone stel met 55w bulbs was so R1900.00,maar die Lekker was dat hulle n stel HID's het en die prys was so R3200.00 wat ek dink baie redelik is.

Ek het na die konstruksie gekyk en dit is baie soos die light Force,wil amper vir jou se dat daar n konektasie is tussen die twee make.

My dilema is dat ek n HID upgrade wil doen op my kar en dan nog spots opsit,maar die gewone spots gaan nou afsteek teen die HID wat wit skyn en die spots gaan n meer geel skynsel he.Al ander opsie wat ek mee kon opkom is om n blou cover oor die Light Force te sit on die effek die selfe te kry.Die Terrafirma is alles ook plasties wat chips en krake uitskakel,wat maar n spot se grootste bedreiging is.

Ek wil my kar vat en eers kyk of die 8" gaan pas,hulle maak die hele radiator toe,ek glo jou voertiug se lugvloei gaan belemmer word.

Hou ons op hoogte met jou planne.

At the Outdoor show last weekend, I saw the same spots, and salesman told me the 100% same would be available soon at R6k a set....what a rip-off........

current price of 3w leds, R20
at 17leds per spot light, still expensive

I would always urge anybody that want to change their spots to HID to think again. Unless you have more than one set, keep in mind that it takes up to 20 seconds for the HID to reach full power. So if you need immediate light, HID won't cut it.
