Hi,
Has anybody made use of the following site: http://www.stopshop.co.za/2540-buy-toyo ... a180-.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
or better still, installed one of these units ?
They look very cool, but would like to know if they a worthwhile replacement.
Cheers . . . . hey hey, it's FRIDAY . . .
Gary

Gary, there is some discussion around here:

But I personally haven't heard anything good or bad about it.....

Yip i have one installed.
it works well and fits perfect. The wiring harness is the same as the toyo one so no wiring cutting required and it does not effect your warranty
only prob i found is that as u turn the knobs they click, click into position. if u dont turn it into position (if its between clicks) it starts activating itself.
sound quality is good, picture quality is good. Another drawn back is that you cant tilt the screen so depending on the angle of the sun its not always clear. But that happens with most in-dash units

mine is not sitting in the dash the way it should coz i'm missing the original radio bracket which would hold the radio in place. When i got my bakkie it had an aftermarket radio and the original housing was removed

Re: Toyota Hilux DVD/GPS Touchscreen [SSAS-TOYOTA180]
I eventually received my system yesterday afternoon, after a bit of misunderstanding
on the issue of taxes to be paid to DHL :evil:
Now I need tofind someone to fitthis thing, including the revese camera . . . . .
Any suggestions out there. Normally I'd do this myself, but there seems to be a helluva
lot of wiring and no installation guide, so ja, how to proceed
Cheers
