Mark,

Ek gaan sommer van hieraf by Kwamhlanga verby ry so reken ek gaan nie saam in konvooi wees nie.

Well it is an extremely delicate process that I need to follow due to the fact that I have chosen to let the guilty party (MY WIFE) clean them.  I have given her step by step drawn diagrams of how to accomplish this major task as efficiently and correctly as possible. :laugh2:

No just kidding. I would like to have a wife when I get home tonight.  I cleaned them the Sunday but still need to put them back in. We have a birthday party on Saturday at my place for a friend. I tried to work it out in such a way that I could make it on Saturday and be back in time for the party but that would be cutting it too close. :(

Francisco I've been chirpping so much and only realized now that I too am going to be a party pooper. Just got off the phone with Louis and he's awaiting spares for my diff (well not mine but the truck's :mocking: ), expecting them only Monday :shock2: , the truck itself will be done by Wednesday. :silent:

With that said, Mark may I please pull out for Saturday, and the lift you offered is also not going to materialize because I will be coming off night shift that morning - I do not want to inconvenience you and take you out of your route. Thank you for the offer though,

With that said, after that other one was also said, :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: , I'm also off the brekkie list

Vandag was amper soos 'n mini GTG....daar was 'n lekker groep manne en mannine

:yahoo:

Daar was 'n hele paar dinge bespreek:

Tx to Brian (Racing Snake) for donating the droppers and tape, much appreciated :!: :!: :!:

In short, the course is NOT a vehicle braker, somewhat 'technical' in places :wink2:

Some camping notes:
- There is no drinking water at the camp site (so take your own drinking water along for the weekend)
- Limited power points, no kettles ect.
- Braai facilities (however limited braai grids)
- Showers and toilets (not the best, but acceptable)
- Nice flat shaded camping area with big trees
- Thorny, so take along hardy shoes.
- Playground for the kids
- Wood available at camp site

Any Q's, just shout

Brilliant seeing all you guys again and meeting some new ones as well!

Participants be sure to adjust bra straps to a good, tight fit. Remove all dentures before entering track area. We almost lost a few guys shaking about on some obstacles!

We got a nice large and prominent obstacle with plenty opportunity to get creative and with little construction needed.

So what is deemed as adequate recovery points? Will the standard LTD ones do?

Page 2 is just for the team, for each participating vehicle we only need recovery points & shackles?

They will 100% definately without any doubt check the bolts used to attach your bumper/recovery point. IF it is not rated the vehicle will be denied access to the event.
