Tx Neil, I believe many people understand the basics but still end up in weird places. Will invite some outsiders as well if you don't mind.

Ok, my questions:
1. There are two types of co-ordinates. What are they, where and when used and hoe do I switch between the two types?
2. On a basic GPS(Nuvi?) can you enter more than one way point at a time? Can I enter, lets say, 20 points to follow a route?
Only Garmin or other products as well?

Neil, if I may.....
Thabo, daar is eintlik x3 verskillendes wat ons hier gebruik
Jy kan baie hang af van jou unit 'points to follow route'
Maar vir meer info sal jy gerus moet saam

Here's some more :
Why are there 3 types of formats ?
To give some background on where are those figures coming from that we enter on the GPS
Why can a GPS give wrong info ?
Can one have Garmin and T4A on one sd card and it work ?
