1996 Toyota Hilux 4x4 double cab SFA R80,000

Queenstown, Eastern Cape

On offer here is a project that came to a stand still due to ill health, my intentions were to build this truck to look similar to one of The Australian Outback 4x4 Trucks. With large wheels and to stand out.

However this project has come to an end and this is why it is for sale.

7MGE engine with matching computer box.
6 cylinder fuel injection petrol.

Some info on the truck.

1. The automatic transmission has low range lock up.
2. The transmission was overhauled costing over R10 000.00
3. The transfer case was also repaired and a brand new Marlin Transfer case adaptor was fitted, the transmission, transfer cases and Marlin were all bead blasted.
4. The heater hoses were replaced behind the engine.
5. The vehicle is still registered and the license is up to date and we have the registration papers.
5. The vehicle was in a running condition.
6. The rear seat and other drivers seat is in storage.
7. I think it is a 1996 year model, I cannot remember.
8. The vehicle will be sold AS IS.
9. The one large metal angle iron metal plate on the rear will not be sold with the vehicle.
10. I have a brand new KZTE radiator for the vehicle, the original radiator will go with the vehicle that has the oil cooler in it.
11. I also have two electric fans for the truck.
12. See photo I wanted to fit a front propshaft to the rear with the double cardan joint to give the correct angle.
13. This project would be nice for a Father to share with his son's or to keep himself busy on the weekends.

For more information please contact me by email to qf@lcom.co.za or by cell phone 0837036430.

Thank you.

Yes it is. A typo on my part, sorry. Have adjusted it to a pessimistic R80K. :D:
Testing the waters at this point but also have to say that the vehicle looks a lot worse than it actually is. It's been standing in a shed for some time now and was as said a project that came to a standstill, so besides the dust it's in a state of being partially dismantled.
