Baie nice Chris. Ek like die blokkiesvloer, ek het dieselfde in my flat in Tamboerkloof gehad...

Niel "setting up" takes about 46 seconds ! (okay a bit longer to open the afdakkies)

putting it down maybe as long as 2 minutes. Walking around the bakkie ensuring the canvas is "in" is really time sapping .... :siffler: :siffler:

COST ??? :siffler: :siffler:

uhm ja, after all said and done it always boils down to cost .... :subscribed:

I find myself in strange position. I know Sarel and Elize. And doing business with friends is often a difficult thing to do .....

For almost a year Sarel and I exchanged emails about options and layouts ..... Bear in mind my layout is totally different to what their other clients requested - we are geared to live inside (knowing the climate in the Cape), while the other rigs work with a multitude of doors and sliders for everything to be used outside.

October last year I sent the "big" email asking Sarel for a quote ..... he came back with a price I STILL do not understand ! I checked with him about four times, as I believe he underquoted ... Once the job was done we had a face to face discussion, he stuck to his quote .... in the end I added a few rands to the payment (wish I could have added more, as I think it is truly worth it)

This said, I think you can appreciate that I cant publish the price he asked me.

So for those wanting to go this route, PLEASE contact Sarel and Elize and FIRST discuss what you want. Then get a quote.

The price IS linked to LABOUR HOURS. The more detail work you want, the longer it takes and THIS costs money !! Two "identical" campers will cost vastly different amounts - all dependant on the finishes you ask for .....

AGAIN I say first SPEAK to Sarel and Elize about what you want. :)

UPDATE -

Batteries do not last forever .... :naah:

DO bear this in mind when you plan the layout of your camper .... :subscribed: :siffler:

And when you add more wiring and goodies ... DO remember that that battery must one day get out off that "hole" .... :surrender: :surrender:

My mond hang oop vir jou vaardigheid, Chris!

http://www.blinkgatproducts.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Daar is soveel opsies !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OF wil julle "buite" leef ?
