Welcome Cory!

Yes noticed immediately that they were shackle bushes on your tray lift ... they would perhaps been ideal if they were single and not split (shackle bushes are all split) ..... perhaps a couple of solid hard rubber bushes will do the trick, otherwise steel spacers with some thickish rubber washers either end.

Why is it on a trailer and not running? :?:
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.

Thanks jaans & thunder02

No I towed it home it had no power. At all was just a loose wire to the injectors. I got this unbelievably cheap cause he thought it would cost heaps to fix.

Not the best update but...
I have been up to my mums to work on my ute eat least 3 times now. Everytime I go up the it had little issue's first was the pulley tensioner would move so I could get the belt on. 2nd I could open the bonnet cause the cable came loose. Went to fi the radiator up and water started pissing out. Realised the heater hose outlet wasn't their. So I have to get one tommorow fingers crossed that will be the last issue.

As you can see anything electrical is a mess. I got the day off and finally got it down from my mums. Heaps easier cause I can work on it when I'm free!!. So I should be able to tidy up their wiring on Monday and Tuesday.

I'm hoping to get my power steering lines made up next week and set up my sound system. And paint it white in the next 2 weeks.

So I have been driving it for the past couple of days. I have a pretty big list of things to do.

Fix up all the inside carpets speakers etc

Make a new loom

Paint the cab and tray and can't decide if I should use checker plate or not. Thinking of this style tray for a roof

That looks good, I would definitely copy it - and why not use a light gauge chequer plate, it's stronger than flat and won't bend as easiiy.
