1998 Hilux Tiger

Post by heresjohnny »

Hi folks, this is my 1998 (as far as I can tell!) Hilux with the 2.4l 2l-t. I bought it about 3 weeks ago, and have spent more time fixing it than playing so far... But I think most of the work is done now. For now. ;)

The other two are my wife and my dog ;).

Cheers

Nice truck, looks like an IFS (later model) with some Surf components.
Great colour

Sure it's a 2L-TE, and not a KZ?

Naw, Ben, the KZ's air filter sits front left.
...
...
...perhaps it's a left hand drive and toyota just mirrored all the specs...

Yes, Oupa Stig, but this is a LHD Hilux, and it is the turbo to intake manifold pipe, that has me wondering.
His Brake booster is also on the left.

I have SFA's with 2L engines, and the Air filter is also front left, battery front right.
