Zantus
Hi All
I'm here now as well. Most of you already know me. My hilux's specs are in my signature.
And here's a pic of the little black sheep in the family:
And a little taste of what it sounds like:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 0104490708
And to prove it's not my first lux....the 2.8D in magnificent condition I owned in '03/'04
I've been reluctant to join this forum, purely because I don't want to discuss my Hilux or the Lexus conversion at this time.......or at least until it is working the way I want it to work. So, PLEASE DON'T send me PM's about my conversion like numerous people have done on other forums. Ask your conversion questions on the forum and I will help if I can.
Sorry if I'm sounding a bit rude, but it's a very long story, which I'd prefer not to share.

Re: Zantus
Welcome Zantus
I'm sure you will find your stay here a positive one.
Both those vehicles look amaxing and I'm sure with the latest one you have a lot of fun.
I won't ask but it sounds like a facinating story behind the conversion that will one day be told.
Anyway have a great time

Offcamber is die beste trail in ons kontrei. Dit was Vrydag nog nat, en toe besluit ons om dit eerder te los vir 'n ander dag.

Hi Barto,
Glad to see you on board here!
I won't ask questions , but I was trying to find your original thread on it last night on the 4x4 Community Forum... couldn't find it. This was to provide some insight to a chap requesting information to do a similar conversion on Andrew's old forum. Instead, I recommended he join both our current forums, his chances of obtaining better information would be infinitely more successful!

To prevent any legal issues at a later stage, the entire "Project X" thread was removed from the 4x4community forum.

Welcome old friend, at least he also drives what we all call The best 4x4.
Have you guys seen that short brief article, in the latest May/June toyota Zone Mag page 5 about this guy who has a Hilux that has done 1 400 000km on a single engine, his bakkie is a 1983 model Hilux.
Awesome stuff.
