Mense! !! First time I'm part of a forum, thought it'd be a great idea as of 2 months ago I'm the proud owner of a hilux 4x4! i often do off road driving but would really want to learn more about off road driving skills and techniques. My bakkie is at the mechanic right now, injectors being the issue. Are there any mechanical insurers that would cover the full cost of repairs not just a percentage? What tips can you give me to keep my bakkie out of the mechanics garage?

Hi Shamiel and welcome. Hope you have some awesome adventures with your bakkie.... It is really worth doing some 4x4 driver training if you don't have much experience, helps you to keep your bakkie safer and its occupants, when you know a bit more.. insurance I know nothing about..

Welcome Shamiel!
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!
