everlasting project
Hi All,
My name is Kevin and I am trying to finish a 1989 hilux double cab. This project like many I embark on has been dragging its heels!
I have a few minor things that I need for the car such as aerial, lights etc.
Hopefully it will all come together shortly. Going to post some pics if I can figure it out.
Regards
Kevin

When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

Load bin was badly rusted in places under the ruberising. Had profile bent to shape of the floor ribs and started cutting and welding!

Re: everlasting project
Hi there,
Ja it is a v6, wish it was standard. thinking of changing back. The v6 is very thirsty and takes the premium fuel which is getting harder and harder to find.

Re: everlasting project
The original 4y does not use far less than a properly tunes V6. At least with the V6 you have more power for the same fuel you use.Ja it is a v6, wish it was standard. thinking of changing back. The v6 is very thirsty and takes the premium fuel which is getting harder and harder to find.
