Hi guys,

I am moving back to SA and I bought myself a Hilux revo! I have lots of questions and extras which I would like to fit, but I would like to hear from all of you, where to fit it and what works and doesn't work.

I will be based in Pretoria.

1. Rubberrizing- where do I do it, and what cost can I expect?

2. I am thinking of installing LED head light bulbs. Are they worth it? I am talking about the plug and play units, not the complete fitment of the SR5 headlights. And does the computer have an issue with the LED bulbs, and is there any risks doing this? I already bought some light bar spotlights,I just want to have the color match between the headlights and the LeD bars.

3. Anti theft devices. What to fit? Do they still steal the Revo as easy as they did the Vigo?

Looking forward to all the opinions!

Almost forgot #4.

4. The leveling kit, to raise the nose slightly, does it have any benefits, does it change the handling characteristics, does it go easier to "vlakvark" mode and roll on a gravel road?

Welcome,

Rubberizing I will say Rhino linings are pretty good.

4x4 Direct can help with the replacement Led Globes. Price will be R1300

Anti theft on the Revo is pretty good but always good to have a back up

4x4 Direct can also help with the from levelling too. 20mm Strut spacer be R895 and fitment R450. This will only raise the nose up. Better handling not really.

Enjoy the Revo
