The Toyota travelling family

Post by Vanillaminx »

We are a Toyota family that love the Africa Roads. Dad drives a 1996 Toyota 4x4 which we grew up in and had many adventures in. My brother is also a proud owner of a Hilux. We however own a Fortuner and an Etios. Still trying to convince my other half that a bakkie would be more useful - but all in due time.

Dad, 76 is now looking to sell his pride and joy to buy something a little smaller yet every time he gets on a dirt road he tears up as his bakkie was his only dream for years. I am trying to assist with this big step so one of the reasons I joined the Forum is to see what's the best I can get when selling his bakkie.

The other reason for joining is the exciting travel forums - we enjoy travelling to areas out of SA and there's a lot of useful info for us. We also like 4x4 trails and the fact that we get first hand experience feedback is a bonus.

Thanks for the forum and thanks for letting us be a part of the Toyota fun.
