Newbie, to 4x4

Post by links69 »

Good evening everyone. I'm new to 4x4 after buying a Hilux 2.5D SRX due to an investment in Mozambique. Hope to learn and share on the forum.

It is a good idea to do a 4x4 course as it will give you a good idea of what your vehicle is capable of.

Howzit and welcome to the forum Lincoln.I also drive a 2,5 srx 4x4 which I have converted into a dedicated camper.
My standing mass, including 140 l of diesel in the tanks and 70 l water and many extras, is about 2600 kg.( without the beer, meat, swambo or myself aboard).

The srx is a bit under powered compared to the 3,0 l but it is still very capable and I am very happy with its overall performance.
I am certain you will also enjoy your srx.Good luck.
