Buster - the latest addition to the family!
So after selling my 2002 2.7 IFS, I have now bought "Buster". Buster was born in 2008 and blessed with a 3.0 D-4D heart which is still being run-in with only 79000km on the clock! We drove up Breedt's Nek Pass yesterday and captured Buster's first family portraits! May there be many more to come!

Let the mods begin!
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

The only extras is an extra spare wheel - locked on a bracket in the loadbin (takes up so much space) and M&M seat covers, and obviously the canopy!!
Mods will probably begin next year... Have a wedding and honeymoon to see to first!!

Oh wow! Awesome, wish you many km's. Nothing beats the beauty of a Hilux in it's natural habitat.

Re: Buster - the latest addition to the family!
The opportunity came along, Buster was owned from new by my dad, low mileage, lighter on fuel, more powerful and a steal of a price!! Would've been a fool not to have jumped at the opportunity!

Breedt's Neck Pass - cutting through/across the Magaliesberg mountain range?
My GPS once took me along that road - what a surprise after the initial shock because of the condition of the road :wth:

Re: Buster - the latest addition to the family!
Yes, that's the one! The road is quite bad in some places, very rocky. We only went to the "summit" from Magaliesburg side, and then turned back. Seems quite a popular road for mountain bikers! We did pass a couple of other 4x4's, even a guy in a Subaru Forester!chopper wrote:Breedt's Neck Pass - cutting through/across the Magaliesberg mountain range?

Welcome Duster... Buster, hope you have many years of fun with that baby. Bet the fuel price had a lot to do with your decision, the low milage and bargain price not withstanding.
