Eerste verandring

spot the difference

Did a trip to Musina and back on Friday kept it at a max of 3000rpm and used the A/C here and there
9.8km/l

And i refiled at the same pump as before i left town, and i made sure they filled it properly

After refitted the dash i removed the Carmets and seats for a littke valet...
That is when i spotted a mouse (must have came as a bonus from the mechanics after the Tie rod pitmanarm and idler arm replacement)

And guess where it went to hide..... :evil:

Decided to fix the speedo reeding wile replacing the Sleedo cable.

Whet i bought the IFS i found that the speedo was replaced at 100 000KM ( did a Transunion search )
So i changed the speedo from 113000KM to 217000KM since i did some miladge without a speedo cable.

After i fitted the Pirate cable i found a piece of cable in the femail socket of the cluster

Now to get that out

I would have expected the general trend would be to change 217k to 113k...

George, my air vent is stuck on warm and does not return to cold, while you had the dash stripped, did you see if it works with a cable or just the switch, does it just clip back in, or would I have to replace the switches/cable?

Correct but i already did close to 3000KM without a speedo cable

But i think it's the cable that runs to below the Cubby.

15" 8.5 JJ mags is op... Nou vang hulle teen die agterkant van die wheel arch. HI-Q het hosover moontlik gestel maar hy vang steeds.

George jy kan altyd extended shackles opsit as hy net agter vang...? Anders kan jy die bakkie lig deur Torsions op te stel en of spacers in te sit voor en as jy meer geld het vol Old Man Emu/Mikem suspensie. Myne het ook gevang nadat ek die 31" BFG's op gesit het.

Glo my hy is hoog
Agter 62.5 "center cap tot wheel arch"
Voor +/- 61 "center cap tot wheel arch"

dis die voor wiele wat vang as gevolg van die breer rims en ook hulle het 'n baie groot "offset" / Die rims is "diep"

Dis met baie hartseer dat ek die outjie in die mark moet sit

Ons sal moet kyk vir 'n grooter voertuig siende dat Moeder nou gereeld saal met ons die langpad vat na Skoon pa se afsterwe.
3 groot mense en 2 kinder stoeltjies is maar net te tight........

Ek gaan hom maar eers elders adverteer en kyk of ek nie die prys bietjie kan druk nie dan sal ek hom later hier adverteer as hy nog nie verkoop is nie.

I'm considering taking out the ball joint spacers as it leaves my Wheel alignment at a Borderline "maximum setting" :problem:

Ball joint spacers removed and the rear extra leav removed lost about 30mm in height

but at least she drives more comfortable now. if she doesn't sell i'll ad extended shackles at the back.
