15' Rims Needed..... Please Help
Hi Guys & Gals
I have 33' Tires on Yoda now fitted on 16' rims......
Now the problem i am faced with is this.....
On 3 ocations now i have had Yoda in some serious x axles and each time the tires push right up into the wheel arch and rub.....
I have had a few people confirm my theory of going to 31' or 30' tires to see if it performs in the same mannor.....
I know i need to get my suspension lef springs referbished, but as far as i know it will not stop the rubbing......
SO
I have a set of 30x9.5 R15 with 80% tread on my nomad (the nomad is for sale ) it is a 5 hole rim so this is no help to me yet.
I need to get a 2nd hand set of 15' rims to test the set of tires.....
If someone has a set that i can buy or borrow to do this test the condition of the rims is not a huge concern as long as they not buckled......
If any one can help please let me know asap......

last time I checked Tiger sells 15" Pro Whites for R275 each. not really worth buying 2nd hand ones at that price

I am not driving Rokorok at the moment so if you don't come right you can come and swap out your rims onto my truck and try mine for a while.
I am running 15" 30.5 rims and tyres at the moment so you could use this to test your theory.
My truck is in Kya Sand

SOLUTION: Body Lift - super cheap to do and if you can use a hacksaw and a welder you can do most of it yourself

Re: 15' Rims Needed..... Please Help
have a look back at my "rebuild" thread and you will see what I did to raise my body.
I decided it was easier to raise the trans and engine the same amount so that my radiator and gearlever stayed the same height
I just needed to extend my fuel filler pipe and lenghthen my props

I dont think thats a problem.......CasKru wrote:Johno... have you checked that your shocks are not maybe limiting your downward travel?
Its the upward travel thats a problem as it pushes the tier right up into the wheel arch causing it to rub.....

Post a pic ot two - Bump stops still in place? Someone mentioned that you could extend the bump stops to limit the upward travel so if it is not much that sounds like a good option.

But then that limits the articulation......
I would rather keep full articulation and go for a smaller tire size, makes sense to me.....
