Kenneth IIsarge,accident on friday night. update

Just want to inform fellow members,Kenneth was in a serious accident on Friday night.
I got a call from his sister about an half an hour ago,they apparently operated on him today,I'm just waiting for her to get back to me with the details.

Got some info,he is out of danger,his pelvis is completely crushed.
He is in Garden City hospitality ,not sure witch ward.

He's going to need more than prayers once I've got hold of him,told him ages ago to get rid of the bike..........

Just spoke to his sister.
He is out of ICU,and has been moved into hi care,it's on the first floor.
Visiting hours are between 3 and 4 and then 7 to 8 in the evenings.

The info i got,he had hit a stationery vehicle at over 100 km per hour,the person had pulled out ,saw him and then stoped dead,he had no time to avoid the vehicle.

So far his condition is improving,but in lots of pain.Crushed pelvis and crushed wrist.He swears never to touch a bike again

I have conveyed all the well wishes from all you guys and gals.His family thanks you all.

Yeah, once a biker, always a biker, i've had quite a few broken bones because of bike accidents, but somehow you get over it and ride again, but if you're close to 50, the healing takes longer and it's more painful, so you have to drink more Rum while recovering, we'll have to send a bottle with the biltong.

Got a call from Kenneth today,which is a good sign.They will be moving him to a normal ward tomorrow.He sounds good,but still in a lot of pain.The Doc said he should be released in a weeks time,and thereafter will have surgery on his pelvis in five weeks time.They are trying to get the bones back into it's normal position.
Will make a turn by him early next week.
