This pic was taken in JHB yesterday morning, you can see the bolt cutter next to him and the broken cables.

Sadly he didn't make it...

Ons in die telekommunikasie bedryf voel elke dag die skade van gesteelde kables, dit kos derduisende rande om slegs n paar meter kable te vervang, en meeste van die kabels word dan in beton gegiet, maar dan word die transformer dood eenvoudig gevat. Ek se hulle moet die kopers reguleer dit is al wat die probleem gaan oplos. Baie van die elektriese kontrakteurs wat ek ken het al die "scrap metal dealers" op sy tracker systeem gelaai en hulle kry n sms sodra een van die voertuie naby n scrap dealer is. Maar daar is nie n tekort aan hul vindingrykheid nie, wens net hulle wil dit positief toepas!!!!

At the risk of sounding callous - not sad to me at all.

I have experienced the effects (and losses) first hand of being the victim of such theft repeatedly.

Newton said that for every action there's a reaction and eventually your sins will catch up to you.

Yep, I only know them as 'ELO'... thought it sounded funny but remember, before joining ELO he performed with Edison Lighthouse, also a UK group. Currently, he is switched off.
