Word is that its Very unlikely to remain a racetrack.
Apparently the residents keep complaining about the noise... Perhaps know more about the area before buying next time...

My 2 cents worth is that the motor sport does not want to use the track as it is a nightmare getting in and getting out,
Pity that such a historical track will be lost, and lets face it the potential for property development is hugh!!! so now instead of having the traffic problems during the weekends, they will have it continually during the week either as the residents leave for work or as the workers arrive for work, either way it is a stuff up.
Something JRA (JHB Roads Agency, and town planning ) should have looked at twenty years ago but hey we just voted in the same useless government, (ooops, did I type that out load?)

remember sleeping on the inside of the track, when it was still Leeukop and the it ran in the opposite direction
remember driving around skelem couz one of the senior marshals had a car like my one and no one stopped me that night

I've driven round as well.
In my RunX and in a A1 type open wheeler. It's a difficult track but soo awesome!
I marshalled at the track for a bit then swambo started complaining that i'm spending half the weekend at the track and you can figure out the rest
