Where to go check snow in platkar?........Ceres photos
Hi guys and girls
I believe there will be some snow this weekend?
Would anybody from Ceres, Wellington or that general area please let me know of a place were I can go to show some Little People what snow looks like...
I can only go in a Plat kar....as Swartvark's Radiator got buggered.
I was thinking Saturday early afternoon....or Sunday morning very early?
Thanks

No snow around these parts ..... we've had a very warm spell over the past week or so. Last night's minimum was 19°

Re: Where to go check snow in platkar?
If you have patience with the traffic it could be well worth it; I am thinking of going on Sunday as I can't go tomorrow. Also maybe phone Tulbagh Tourism office and ask them how low the snow is...swartvark wrote:Thanks Ronnie....that's why I thought Saturday might be better......I'm sure Sunday will be very hectic..ronnie wrote:Just outside Ceres on the way to Klondike Cherry farm as far as I know is best for platkar.....problem will be traffic as with the cold front hitting us there are going to be lots of people with the same idea as you

Re: Where to go check snow in platkar?
I was hoping that there would be some Ceres people on this Forum that could help us out with updates.
But it seems like they don't like the idea of us invading their town.

Re: Where to go check snow in platkar?
Was gister in Ceres, Witsenberg en Matroosberg. Net Matroosberg was die spreekwoordelike malhuis (wel dit was namiddag toe ons daar deur is) Die berge is wit van die sneeu. Sal later n foto of 2 posit.
