Hiluxes needed for film shoot in CPT area

To whom it may concern,,
my name is Maike and I just had a look at your Hilux 4x4 club website and thought maybe you could help me out. I am working on a Hilux Toyota TV commercial for a company called Bioscope and we are busy looking for Hilux Toyota bakkies from the 80s and 90s. We would like to rent these vehicles as picture vehicles for the film shoot from the 17th - 18th of October ( next week Friday and Saturday). Would you know of any members in your club who possibly have a suitable vehicle that they might be willing to rent out for those dates? I have attached a document which shows more detailed pictures of what sort of Hilux bakkie we are looking for- it seems to be specifically difficult to find a Hilux bakkie in different coulours, most of them seem to be either white or silver.
Please let me know if you can think of anyone who could possibly help us out. I am based in Cape Town and the location for the shoot will be in areas close by. We are even getting some vehicles from Joburg so we can allways make a plan if the vehicle does not come directly from Cape Town.

These guys are still looking for Hiluxes for the shoot. Denzel Grahn called me this morning and asked to bring this under your attention again. They are still looking for early 90's Hilux single and double cabs, preferably not white and not modified, as well as late 90's early 2000's models also SC/DC. Please give Denzel a call if you are interested, They will pay you guys a rental fee for the use of the vehicles, as well as food and snacks if you hang around the shoot.

Ongelukkig, Bulldog is nie heeltemaal standaard nie. Alhoewel, apart van die BB, sal hy seker nog kan pas, al het hy OME suspension.

Ek het reeds vir hulle 'n mail gestuur, en die person het toe laat weet dat my Lux ideal is, en net waarna hulle soek. Dink dalk hy het te vining gepraat, aangesien daar verskeie extras is op die bakkie, en die feit dat ek van Pta af is, gaan hulle 'n paar $ kos. Sal maar sien of hy my weer kontak?

Myne is amper standaard, maar het so bietjie "karakter" van `n paar trails wat ek al gedoen het.
En om `n dag van die werk af weg te wees gaan my seker meer kos as wat hulle gaan betaal.
Het Toyota SA nie voorbeelde van elke Hilux generasie nie? Wys jou hoe trots hulle op hulle produk is...

Ek het gesien jy het so bietjie laat weet hoe jy voel oor die legend 45 op facebook.
Ek het die ou nou `n email gestuur oor die film shoot. Ek is seker met baie editing sal my Hilux soos `n nuwe kan lyk!

The feedback so far from Denzel is vague.
I asked about the specific location and timelines but the answer I got was that its in the Wellington area.
I tried to phone Bioscope films this morning but they are not answering their phone, so I have emailled an executive producer to find out what the deal is.
At the moment I am sceptical about this.

Ek gaan eerder visvang vrydag, dis baie meer opwindend as om te sit en kyk hoe iemand anders die heeldag met my hilux op en af ry. Dis nou as hulle nie daarmee weg ry nie

Jou plan klink baie beter
Ek het toe vir Denzel laat weet ek stel nie verder belang nie. As hulle nie eens kan details gee oor hoe wat en waar nie kan hulle maar gaan doppies blaas in my opinie.

Hi Ouens, was lank laas op die site gewees. Besig met werk jong. Ja hulle het vir ou Rooies gebruik, ons het twee dae lank net buite Worcester geskiet en die laaste dag op Klipbok Kop. Ek het omtrent al die bakkies gery in die add ook want daar was niemand by Klipbok wat kon 4X4 nie.
Amazing dat 9 ure se film nou net 41 sec is.
Nou is ou Rooies n movie star en n LEGEND!!!

Hyt ook 'n SFA en was geskors vir 'n tydperk omrede hy by die eetsaal se trappe opgery het!

Was nogals heel lekker, die ou 69 behoort aan Toyota SA en staan gewoontlik in hulle voorportaal by hoofkantoor. Was glo die eerste een in die land. Daar was ook n 81 4x4 single cab, 89 single cab en n 99 enkel cab en ou Rooies.
