Excellent, just be mindful of fermenting temperatures. You have to keep them as constant as possible.

I will will only start brewing again in May, when I can control the temperature by means of a water bath and aquarium thermometer. I only brew two different styles, a Blonde Ale and Dark IPA.

My first batch did not turn out great at all... was a Lager that came with the Coopers kit... but after tasting and reading up a bit I suspect that the yeast/sugar might have been expired/old so will try a new batch sometime this month again. Hou duimvas dat die een beter is asb!!

I believe is also very important.
Yes, if all your equipment is not sterilised the yeast will not do its thing, to do a lager you need lower temperatures and ale a bit higher. And it is very important to control the the wort when you boil it, you don't want it to boil over!

I see they use an old fridge or freezer to help control the temperature.
