Just one question.
How legal would it be to take on a plane like in the clip??
I mean, you can't even take tweezers on board.

Re: New LEATHERMAN TREAD !
Net my opinie...

Re: New LEATHERMAN TREAD !
Oupa Stig it's got nothing to do with functionality... for that you have the usual Leatherman... this is based purely on looks and "must-have" qualities!

Re: New LEATHERMAN TREAD !
Plus, I don't think you have to disassemble it to make it work.
Look at the clip again and you will see that when folded flat,
the tool fits in your hand.

Re: New LEATHERMAN TREAD !
Kevin, you are right, and I'd say it could be handy, having a tool at hand (arm) with so many functions. It really is impressive, and from a practical point of view I cannot criticise it for an emergency tool.
But even so, not my style. Just like a Harley is not my style.

I fully agree with you.
It is just one of those "nice to have" tools.
