Ideal spot light

Post by chopper »

I've been using the Light Force 170 Striker (Marine version?) for "outdoor duties" at night; is there a light-weight, hand-held LED light with the same capability/capacity but that will last longer when operating it off a power pack :?:
Thank you

Thinus, if you see Junior anytime over the weekend, ask him his opinion on the TopCCTV one that we use. Alternatively, I'll bring mine to work one day and you can give it the once-over.

I've just gone and dug it up, was packed away. not handheld unfortunately but magnetic mount for a vehicle's roof and direction of beam controlled by a handheld remote controller.

This one:

phpBB [video]

View Original

Fully remote controlled 50W Cree LED spot light. It can be set up with either the hard mount or magnetic base.It has a full 360 degree turning circle with a 120 degree pitch. The remote comes with batteries and the light is set up to plug into 12 volt outlet. Being 50W of clear led light it delivers a strong beam perfect for hunting, search & rescue.

That's awesome, like the magnet base idea. Any ideas on what the cost is?

We bought two of these just over a year ago to see if we would resell or not. I was not sure whether they would sell or not and did not want to sit with a batch of unsold stock, but they certainly throw a mean beam!

At the time they would have sold for R2500, will check on availability and pricing today.
