It's a sad day....
it is with mixed emotions that i agree to purchase of 2003 300tdi DC 4x4 isuzu.

guy selling it for R90K... does not have service history , which got me bit worried, but he just did major service incl glow plugs, and selling it with RWC... 215K on the clock. I reckon not too bad?

My toppie had an old 2.5 kb, no turbo. 1000km on a tank of diesel. But it was a donkey. He drove it for 500 000km, then we got hi-jacked. He shot 2 rounds in it from a 357 magnum. Tracker recovered it and one of my toppies guys drove it for another 500 000km with 2 bullet holes. Regular service, did not open the engine or gearbox once.
Only reason it is of the road is because it was totaled in an accident.

My father in law has a Isuzu 300Tdi top mount inter cooler and it is a good work horse and good fuel consumption with good drive and power.I really do like them.

The 3.0 does not have the legendary fuel consumption of the 2.8 and the first generation electronic pump setup is troublesome, but they are nice vehicles for different reasons, hope you enjoy your squeaky couch on wheels.

Hoppy... is the fuel pump thing a major / costly issue.
Also, what should i look out for when driving... bear in mind i have never owned a diesel.
Only drove my buddy 300 dmax recently for short distance.... fell in love with diesel.
can one tell me driving / listening if injectors are on their last?
