What to do with old tyres?

I am cleaning up the grounds of a closed pre-primary school and I have around 30 tyres, from motorbike to tractor size that I need to get rid of. It was used to construct obstacles for the kids to play on.

Our dumping site does not allow tyres to be taken there.

How do I get rid of them? I doubt that a tyre shop will be willing to help.

I was even thinking of sponsoring the next service delivery protests...

Or just ask your local tyre shop to take them off your hands...

Most of them have recyclers who come and collect old tyres from them and pay them per tyre - it's money for nothing for these guys.

Just some feedback.

I contacted Redisa and they have arranged to have someone collect all the tyres from us at no cost.

In total there were 41, so it saves me driving them up and down to dispose of them!
