Yep, they've been around a while already - have been looking at them - they had some problems with the 'obstacle avoidance' but that now seems to be sorted. The only downfall is the limited 20 minute flying time, one would have to have multiple batteries. I'm lead to understand that you can load an app onto your smartphone and it will track you that way as well (GPS on phone), so not necessary to get / use the tracking unit available for it. Very cool. ;-)

I seem to recall a price tag of about 16k .... might be mistaken. This is an older review of the gen 1 that seems not to yet have the obstacle avoidance feature.

Even with the obstacle avoidance feature I have to wonder if it's sensitive enough to detect power or even thinner telephone cables. Think I would rather wait for the Gen 2. :think:
