Another Radio thread (contacts made)

Post by Thunder02 »

So being trying to get the guys to be more active on the air.
Lets start with using ORRA1 and see what contacts can be made.
Maybe post with whom you chatted and in what area, Community forum has a very similar thread.

I travelled to Namibia in June, 2015 and did not even hear a squawk, eventhough I had the radio on during all the daylight hours...

Question, which of the two Hilux channels do you leave your radio on? I've been driving around with mine on 11 but nothing :surrender: even tried a few times to ask who is on air... silence :slap:

Kobus, set radio to channel one (ORRA one), you'll have more contacts there.

Sweet  but what is the use of having a Hilux channel or is that only for trails and club outings :?: :?:

Mostly, but being so few club members, very few contacts will be made, by being on Orra1, you will have more contacts with other club members (non hilux club).
