Long Range tank (standard)

Post by cprinsloo »

Hi,

I'm looking for the thread and photos of the installation of the standard petrol tank next to the normal one, with the exhaust between the 2 tanks. Cannot remember who's SFA it was.

Can anybody help please?

Cheers,

Chris

Hi Johann,

Yes, I found it as well. But it was done for a S/C, for a double cab it won't work witjout a body lift. I'll have to make another plan.

Cheers,

I managed to fit the same dual tank system on my DC without a body lift...

If only. I really must learn to take more photo's of such things. I did mine a bit differently and took the exhaust around the outside of the chassis rail and then back in near the rear shock. Ask Kaspaas to post some of Allen's pics. Those show the route pretty clearly...
