Basically sticking a hydrophone tool down a oil well and shooting seismic guns creating acoustic waves
traveling trough the water column and trough the seabed to the hydrophone being retrieved at a known
rate, thereby drawing up a profile of the well.

Hi Val .... you were right .... had left the browser on, but here now (of course). East London is having a beautifully calm and moderately warm evening  , although I suspect that tomorrow will be a lousy day with strong winds and rain forecast  .

Just to pre-emt Johannes .... ja swaer, ons praat alweer oor die weer! :D:

So lucky had really good weather on the trail... quite warm except for a bit of unnecessary cloud cover..... a couple of drops of rain in Somerset West this evening, in fact at a function I attended directly opposite the entrance to the trail... just nuisance drops ... but overall an amazing day with great Hilux people...

Actually two things ......

That I wasn't there to join in,

and

that you hadn't joined the forum / club earlier, because if you had I would almost certainly have met you at the "Scheppie Saus" weekend about 16 months ago.

:D: ;-)

I was at Afrikaburn last year and have seen that they are expecting record numbers this year again so the road to the festival will be very busy. Think we have found a route to get to Koedoesberg to avoid most of the traffic.
