I enjoy the extra time i have for my family and myself when it's off. I have it switched on for a month or two, watch the same programs i've seen a few times before and maybe two new ones, i get bored again after a month or two and find something better do do with R600.00

Nee ek drink saans kyk nie TV nie....

Seriously, I activate my DSTV subscription on Saturdays to watch the rugby and deactivate it again on Sundays! I think you could probably spend 24 hours and check out all the shows for this month, and watch reruns for the next 30 days!

Funny enough, my wife activated the DSTV for the school holidays, the first night in almost six months i watched a Top gear program that i've seen twice before, an episode of Auction hunters that i've seen, no new movies and believe it or not, a new episode of American Top Gear, WOW, thanks DSTV!

Wellllll.....
Last weekend, got up to give Mia her bottle at about 1am, as I always do. (drew the short straw  )
Could not get back to sleep, so instead of rolling around in bed, keeping SWAMBO awake with my farting, thought I'd watch some tv, as the couch in front of the tv is a great place to doze off.

Suffice to say that e-tv at that time of night does NOT help to get you back to sleep. :shifty:
I decided to watch sabc 3 instead. Really.
I feel a lot less wise at 45 than I did at 15.

Don't watch a lot of telly, but when I do, Tom and Jerry is on top of the list. Then Comedy Central.

Investigation Discovery also gets me fascinated, amazes me how good these cops are, how one piece of hair can get someone in jail due to advanced forensic technology, also fascinates me that even clever people do stupid things and don't expect to get caught. Wish we could get to this stage with our cops in our country.

Then anything relating to cars, nature and outdoors.
