information on Baviaanskloof please

Post by GI Jane »

Now that we are back from Richterveld, the next trip planned is Baviaanskloof in October. We were meant to go in June but due to the heavy rains, we cancelled. Has anyone been recently since the floods?

Exploring Baviaans from 1 to 8 October - When are you planning on going? As for as I know the road is clear but with some roadworks meaning trucks etc.

Can't wait - This time I'll do a trip report, promise :twisted:

Done a 4x4 trip at Tuinskloof about 6 weeks ago. All rivers were flowing. But it won't be as hectic. viewtopic.php?f=5&t=20353&p=232075&hili ... of#p232075" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks for the info. Jaco we go from the 25th Oct to 2nd Nov. Will watch out for your trip report. Will also contact some of the places. Just was told that some areas were no longer accessible due to the floods
