Namibia meat import

Post by Leeuplesier »

Does anybody know the current status of red meat import and export to Namibia. Our trip starts 28 Feb and we wil be traveling the southern part of Nam entering from Upington side and exit at Sendelingsdrift. From there five day's at Richtersveld and then down to Koingnaas. Our last stop for two day's camping will be at Riemvasmaak hot springs.

Much less hassle to buy your meat there. They can sometimes be full of s**t at the border posts. You need a certificate from a health official, I think, it used to be like that.

Jy mag 25kg Namibiese vleis per persoon terugbring SA toe..
