Hi Everyone!
I have to travel from Bloem to Durban shortly. What is the best route to take?
I've never traveled this way before but had a look on Google Maps. Seems that I can go though Lesotho and then down Sani Pass.
Any advice will be appreciated.

You drive to Bethlehem via Winburg, Senekal, Paul Roux. From Bethlehem to Kestel then Harrismith. Get on the N3 to Pietermaritzburg then Durban.

As I said before I don’t know that part of the world at all. I’d like to take my time and explore the area a bit. So it will be the scenic route though Lesotho from Bloem to Durban.
I will take the route as recommended by Revo on the way back.

The only rote from Bloem to Durbs:
take Bloemfontein N1 North drive 100km to Windburg-offramp
Drive from Windburg 65km to Senekal
Drive 35km from Senekal past Paul Roux
Drive 35km to BHM
Drive 90 km from BHM to harrismith (beware off roadworks)
You will drive over van reenen pass and from there you are on the N3 towards Durban
Drive Safeley

On the way back you can take the alternative route via Golden Gate/ Clarence ...... From there you can return via Ficksburg.....
Aint it ironic that "Common Sense" aint so common after all...
