So opportunity has come knocking as the possible itinerary above indicates.
unfortunately it will have to be a whirl wind trip 10 days at the most
The idea so far is Botswana to Kasane (route does not have to be via Francis town) over the border to Vic falls, along Kariba to Chirundu and then down to Masvingo to the ruins. the reason for the trip is to spend a weekend at Chirundu with an aunt turning 70, so we would like to spend a couple of days getting there and back via Bots and Zim.
So recommended routes camping sites and places of interest will be welcome.
The trip will be taking place in the September school holidays so I now have the time to plan, there will be a sfa and a 4.0l vigo (both 4x4) on the trip and camping will be the way we would like to go.
