Between Palmwag and Rhino Sanctuary is Valley of Desolation. Travelling from N to S is a lookout point in the valley of desolation once you have passed Lion Pools. There are kranses on your right which have a lovely WILD campsite. I will be there in June, 2015 (donderdag 1 jan - wild).

Flying to Plett on the 20th, then back on the 28th just in time for monthend, budget, PF and all the rest. Christmas with the family! Sadly, the hilux will be sleeping

We are doing the trip with EFS South Africa
We will be about 8vehicles
The trip will be my first trip to the north of Namibia so it is all unknown to me but will give some detaile feedback when we are back
We wil be sleeping in rooftops and floor tents no trailers on this trip

Dit lyk na 'n GREAT trip. Geniet hom. Ek sal wag vir tot einde Januarie/begin Feb voor ek die pad vat.
Baviaanskloof roep my al lankal terug.....ek was 2007 laas daar.

Looks like an awesome trip Okkie. Went to many of the same places 2 years ago and it was awesome. Some of the off roads are the worst I ever drove on. Tyre eaters. Have a great trip.
