Hoping the locals and the well traveled can assist us with the final planning for our trip. :beg:

Our next trip will be three adults - wife and I and our 75 year young aunt.

We will be doing the B&B / self catering thing.

This will be during the week of the 24 September public holiday .....

Mountain Zebra Park - we will be here on 22 and 23 September  :cooldude:

That leaves the 24th to find accommodation for -
ADDO .... they do have accommodation for us .... at a meagre R 3 700 PER NIGHT, and this for self catering .... hoping for a cancelation, but running out of time to wrap up the arrangments.

QUESTION - Who can recommend a nice B&B close to Addo ? Then we can do a day tour of Addo, and start heading back.

Chris, there was a place very close to Addo with campsite, self catering and a 4X4 trail that (I had on my computer that burnt out) was easily accessible to the Park Main Gate. The PE guys should be able to assist you...
Alternately the Town of Addo is also not far from the Park and you should also be able to Google B&B's there...
About ten years ago I also visited a Lion Park on the outskirts of the town of Addo, before they had Lions in Addo Park...

Thank you Edge.

Strange booking for B&B's and chalets, while we have the camper ....

But a single cab has its limitations  :lmao:

So we will be in my uncle's Legend 35 :celebrate: :yahoo:

:slap: :laugh2:

SO looking forward to 9 days on the road, phone OFF, and time to unwind ....

Chris, they say that a change is as good as a holiday, so enjoy your time off with your aunt and the Legend 35...
What I like about our camper is that the bugs in the bed are our own and we have learned to live happily with them...
We get no surprises from strange bugs which are unknown to us and start feeding before we are asleep...
It's called training and sticking to the devil you know...

Probeer 'n plekkie by Colchester, hulle is goedkoper. Google Jaleens Guest house of dungbeetle river lodge.
