Savuti channel.

Has anyone been to Savuti lately? I heard that the Savuti channel has dried up again. Any truth to the rumor?

Had a client return recently (last week), very dry up there, that's if you are asking about Savuti up in Bots.

Yes they say it has dried up .

The Kwando and or Kavango had to burst it banks for the Savuti to flow again.

My father was up there late december, also confirmed that there is no water in the channel.
Huge contrast to when we were there in December 2014! That river gives a character to the area!

Thanks guys,

That's a huge disappointment. Been there a couple of times and it was spectacular. Now taking some friends from the UK in Sept. Doubt it will be anything like before.
