I'm aware that the Direct 4x4 branches stock 'connect it' fittings, but without ordering online, is there someone who knows where one can get them off the shelve in the George/Mosselbay region?

Maizey plastics also do them, but they only have branches in PE and East London.

Connect it's web site is rather useless, I cannot get it to search your area. If I type in George it gives me Centurion results.

See if you can find it, maybe if it picks up your location via your ip you might have success at:

I think Builders warehouse also stock it, but with most shops you must buy a packed of each fitting, you cannot buy it individually as you can do at your favorite online 4x4 Accessory store.

I found that 4x4Direct were the only supplier who also stocked the correct wall thickness of Al square tube to fit the connect-it fittings.
Service from Boksburg branch to Ladybrand excellent.

Thank you for pointing that out Brian. It is because I had our own unique dies made, so the alu tubing you now buy is our own design.
So far we have for 25mm and 19mm which fits nicely.

Hallo Roofer, regarding your Nissan snorkel. I saw one today where Francois from 4xLux fitted a Ford Ranger snorkel to such a Nissan. Note that it will be a modification, so there will be no template, etc. Code for snorkel is SFR07A

You can also ask Safari Centre or 4x4Megaworld if they have the specific one for that Nissan.

There is a model for them. I imported it with my very first container 9 years ago. I imported 6 and it took me 4 years to sell those 6, so I never imported it again. It has a funny shape with a flat head on the roof. So the real thing is not very popular. The SFR07 looks far better.

The correct code of snorkel for that model is SND21A , you can search the code to see what it looks like.
