Let's go fishing

Post by Donkey »

Hi guys and gals

Been promising my CupCake some fishing for a while now but haven't come around doing it yet. So it's getting warmer and with my birthday on 28 October, a day out would be really nice. I'm proposing October 29 for the outing but am open to ideas on venues. Have not been out fishing so long I porbably forgot

I'll rely on oom Dawie for some lessons prior to the day

So let's get the rods out, brush the dust off as in my case, and see what we can come up with, :beach:

Shweet.

oh* ok I see now.

* - have you ever spoken to a black oldish lady, maybe helping with directions, and she stares at you with a blank lost face? Then you would know she not catching your drift. Eventually you try again, this time much slower and giving more clues. Then she would go ohhhhhhhhhh - then you know only then did the penny drop, :mocking:

Guys just remember to take your freshwater fishing license with. If you don't have one I believe you can buy it at your local SARS office.

Seeing that its so close to my home town, I will take the guys out to the farm for a nice view at the viewpoint. Also we can go play in the (hopefully by then muddy) nearby slopes and get some chance to test the diff breathers.

For those that might be interested time permitting the Sunday afternoon I will show around the Dome area and also take you to see original pink granite.

Ek dink jy verstaan verkeerd... jy moenie die lisensie vir die vis wys nie... jy moet hom vir die ou van F&F wys sou hy daar opdaag.

Neil it can be done but I would rather recommend a late afternoon drink up there as it is most spectacular then up there, and combine it with a braai and some star Gazing at night provided the skies are clear.
