Wie kan my help met die COF van my Jetski? Wat moet ek alles koop? Pta Yamaha het vir my 'n R9000 se lys gegee en ek dink hulle rook hulle kouse!

The COF should by law not be more than R350.
Than it is your equipment that can be in the region of 1500-2000k depending on what you have and where you want to go out.
I am not in the trade anymore, but these guys are surely ripping you off.

P.S Visit this forum http://www.sealine.co.za They will give you good advice

Kerrek George, however have you seen the prices of life jackets at the moment???

I have actually just bought a boat from Gareth (Boat and Lifestyle) and his prices and service, incl after sale service has been nothing short of exceptional.
I highly recommend him.

So ver as ek weet, hulle mag nie meer as R350 charge. Ek het nou net twee boote laat doen, elkeen @ R350.00.

No, I had mine done at Potch Marine and apparently it is a fixed SAMSA rate. They said the dealer is not allowed to charge more for this. Where the dealer would make money is by selling accesspories - 1st Aid box, Fire Extinguisher, Life jackets etc.
