So Friday I left home around 08:00 and made my way towards Eastgate via our public transport system :shock2: , but not taxis - I hate them :aggresive: , to go collect my new baby and figured I'll ride her back home - last time I cycled it was around '98/9 :shock2:

I pulled muscles I forgot existed, some muscles stiffened up and locked but determination and much huffing and puffing got me going. My bums were so sore that even just the slightest of bumps in the road could be felt - I was convinced the shock on the bike was not working :mocking:

Nonetheless 38km (two and a half or so hours) later I was home and it felt good to be on a bike again :celebrate:

So on days I don't feel like running I will cycle.

Scott's are great bikes but their OEM saddles are notoriously uncomfortable. See if you can get a new one, Bontrager (if you can find them) are fantastic. A good pair of padded shorts will help too.
Happy trails

Yep slowly getting into it  , today got my first Ascent cycling bib for R699 and I was like :shock2: but nonetheless it looks like quality and will save my bacon :mocking:

In September sometime there's a race and I'll do the 56km lap just to guige myself, in between I'm still running.

See you at the Argus then :yahoo: , hopefully the 94.7 too. How far are you with the Hilux4x4 Cycling Club?
