D4D Injector cleaner

Post by Hoppy »

a Special fuel system cleaner/conditioner for the problematic D4D injectors is now for sale at the dealers, imported from Toyota Japan and sold under a Toyota part number; 08813-00860.
I have used it on two vehicles and it sorted the misfire/smoking on coldstart, at R160.00 it sounds like a bargain, annything that delays the replacement of the injectors is good news.

Is it D-4D specific or injectors in general? Suppose it'll do the same thing

Usually if it has a part number it is model specific. . .But I could be wrong.

I would expect to receive it as a free issue from Toyota.... Shows you that they do know that the Bosch ones are better...
