The knurled part at the bottom is part of the torch main body, the whole portion below it unscrews.

Finally remembered to buy some AAA's yesterday....awesome little torch, has a beam that can compete with the big Maglites, will definitely outshine the smaller ones, pun intended

A lot of power in such a little packet! :)

We've had requests to bring in some more, so I guess I'll do that early next year. Had I known all 30 would go in less than 24 hours after posting here, I would have initially brought in at least 100 of them! ;)

Eric,
It went with to Maputo but returned unused; heading for the Moz "inland" next week and I'll get to use it a-plenty - really looking foreward to putting it to good use as it gets very dark there at night
Will let you know on the return :)

Eric, are you getting more? Someone saw me using it and wanted to find out the price. I said I would ask.

I received my TK 40 MENHEER via a family member who was in the US three weeks ago. Cost $155 (R1085 @ R7/$) plus one box choklits for transport. Words cannot describe the potency of this torch. 300m beam -unbelievable. :dance1:
It is guaranteed to cause permanent eye damage - just the thing to subtly wake up brain dead motorists with their brights on behind you at night. It is way brighter than the high beam on a SFA - not a high benchmark I admit, but it will certainly out perform many a vehicles' high beam.

Niel, I will be bringing in some more. Just waiting for the Rand to improve again, and also for the Chinese New Year celebrations to end.

Hi Dawie,

Glo nie ons sal hulle weer invoer nie, met die huidige R/$ sal hulle baie duur wees. Ek twyfel ek het nog by die werk maar sal bietjie loer.
