Hi all
My white 1997 double cab 2.8 diesel 4x4 Hilux Raider CA 565-255 was stolen on Friday 10th Feb in Rosebank, Cape Town. It has 235000 km on the clock The vehicle is quite distinctive with a black bullbar, electric winch and spotlights, a black roof rack over the cab and another mounted on the canopy. It has a stainless steel water tank mounted in the bakkie area and steps fixed to the left hand side of the cab behind the passenger door for roof access. It has a reinforced back bar mounted with tow hitch and pin.The canopy has no handle and is secured by a hasp and staple type lock riveted into the canopy body. It has a Hilex Enthusiast Club sticker on the tail gate and a sticker for JB Autos who maintain the vehicle.
Any information leading to the recovery of the vehicle would be greatly appreciated.
Please keep an eye out. I can be contacted via the forum or on 082 5756540.
Thanks
Rick

So sad to hear, Rick. It is in fact quite infuriating.

Are you able to post some pics that show the distinctive identifiers of the vehicle (you can be sure that the stickers will be removed almost immediately).
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
