Is there a mobile version of the forum I'm sitting here on my sel,and ready to through it against the wall its so slow?

Unfortunately not at the moment but we could investigate and see if possible

A.J. have you tried Opera Mini, it's a very popular/nice mobile web browser... when accessing a web page, the page is compressed and resize for proper viewing on your cell phone... a web page of 500kb is compressed down to around 50kb... saves you bandwidth and download time...

vir die tyd wat my laptop en pc in was het ek op my Nokia E90 gemail en internet, ek was op baie sites maar kon nie die hilux4x4 forum oop kry nie, hy laai alles reg maar sodra ek n topic wil oopmaak dan sit die hele internet en 3g koneksie af....???

Trevor did you try Opera Mini... Nokia's own default web browser is a bit of a dog!

okay ek het nou opera mobile 10 op my e90 ge install en die hilux4x4 werk nou op my foon, al wat ek nie van hou nie is dit my internet pages altyd mooi in die screen gepas het, nou is dit groot en ek moet links en regs scroll om n thread te lees, kry nie n setting om te verander die. Maar kan nou ook op my foon "open in new tab" wat baie lekker is.

het die settings menu gekry van opera mobile, man nou is dit lekker op my foon. Wat sal ons tog doen sonder mense soos Cassie en Bretton? Ons eie IT manne, dankie julle

Popera Mini werk nie op my foon, maar ek gradeer einde van die maand op na nuwe foon, sal dan seker op nuwe foon werk.

If you go to http://www.hilux4x4.co.za/views" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; on your blackberry it views the page as normal.. Just zoom in. im on the forum daily with mine!!! it is a bit slower but if you are on the blackberry server its free browsing.. so why not!!!

Yip thats what im also using

Im on other forums that's got mobile versions which is so much faster on the berry.

try berryblab, it has to run on the server and the blackberry

We tried something with a 3rd party provider, see if http://www.hilux4x4.co.za/mobi" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; will work? I don't use these type of things so i won't know if it works, i will rely on your feedback

It Works!!! VERY DIFFERENT But it doesnt chew MB's and its all the basics!!!

I don't want to complian to much but I have seen better on other forums that's little bit more user frendly for now I will still use the normal forum view.

Unfortunately we are limited by the forum software (phpBB) on what is available for mobile devices. When we have some more spare time available we will investigate and maybe develop our own interface.

Watch this space. Die weergawe was net om iets vinnigs available te maak.

Is daar n manier wat n mens daai view new posts kan opsit want om eerlik te wees dis al wat ek nodig het.

Just had a word with the developer of the mobile version and the "view active topic" is on his to do list as is the PM functionality.

Wens die land sie diens was so goed soos julle/Casie sin.
