Good day Guys,

So here I am sitting with this idea and I think most of us will benefit from this idea.

Can we please add a section on the forum to list all 4x4 trials by province?
i.e Only the name of the trial under the province its situated at with gps co ordinates and contact numbers?


I have seen there are many guys that know about trials no one else knows about and then there are those who dont know where to find all the diffirent trials either.

The Wegry 4x4 route guide also doesn't show all the routes in each province so it does not help al that much.

Maby we Hilux club okes can start our own database of trials and keep it up to date as soon as we each learn of new trials?

Can the moderators please shed some light on this subject?

Yes so iets, net al gauteng se roetes onder Gauteng,limpopo sin onder limpopo etc....

Dit maak dit net baie makliker om te soek en as iemand nuwe trials sien of van weet kan elkeen dit sommer onder die provinsie van toepassing save sodoende het almal hier die nuutste info op roetes en ook dan weet almal van die nuutste roete.

Ek hoor teveel mense vra weet jy nie van lekker plek om te ry nie en meeste noem altyd dieselfde roetes omdat hulle nie van ander weet nie

Ja Mark, almost like that but I think what Brian have in mind is more of just a listing with the place's details and not necessarily a full trip report.

I think something liek that can work better on a normal page because one can add more than one trail per page and sort them in alphabetical order.
But still I would like to see a place where users can comment on each trail

Maybe we can start a trail listing section, per province. A user can then add the details of the trail but not a trip report and then others can just comment

That can work well for trails and camping sites

Another think if there is a website adress for the trial mentione please add that aswell so if someone is interested he can go on the website to see if there is camping etc... available

Het `n lys van so plus minus 340 roetes wat op `n "spreadsheet" aangebring is. Die lys is op die stadium bietjie verouderd aangesien ek weet dat van die roetes het weggeval en dan weer van ander weet wat bygekom het.

Die kontakpersone se telefoonnommers is daarby asook tydskrifdatums en nommers waar van hulle die roetes gery het en hul oordeek daaroor uitgespreek het

Ongelukkig weet ek nie hoe om die lys op die forum te laai nie - miskien kan julle my help sodat ek ook weet.

Dink een van die slim manne sal weet hoe om dit op die forum te laai ander sal mens dit moet copy en paste.

So lys is juis my idee op die forum dat mens iewers het om te kyk waar al die roetes is sonder om deur bladsy se kommentaar te soek net om 'n roete te soek soms raak die topics te lank met kommentaar en so rak die eintlike onderwerp soms verlore
