Calliper oring seal

Post by hennievr »

2011 Toyota D4D 3.0 - I've split the R/H front calliper and damaged the o ring seal that comes in between, obviously went to Toyota but why would they want to sell you an o ring when they can sell you a new calliper for R 9000+. I got it to be driveable but it is leaking brake fluid and obviously need to get it fixed. Question I have before I take the calliper apart again, is there a company that stock these seals and would know what I talk about when requesting this seal? Does anyone have any measurements I can give to them?

Thanks in advance, Hennie

You should be able to get from Beating Man. Just tell them it's for brake fluid. Probably cost you about 60 cents.
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.

You are almost guaranteed to get the correct o-ring at Seal Centre in Moot Street. www.sealcentre.co.za
