4 Y Nicky Carbs for cheap

Post by freeflyd »

My local Spares Shop in Waverley in Pretoria is selling brand new 4Y Nicky Carbs, and Golf Carbs for R650. This seems cheap...

Thought I'd share...

Hi guys,

I've just had a bad experience, actually I'm still in the experience, with one of these 'Nikki' carbs. The Aisan carb is the better one to go for, the Nikki version is not the same! The original carb from Toyota is over R4000 so these 'Nikki's' can sure not be the real thing. Watch Out! The lesson I have just learnt is that some of the Nikki replica's overfuel and there's nothing that can be done to fix it.

The sticker on the display says:

Toyota 4Y Nicky Carb.

I've not walked in to have it checked out.
